Comment on draft parking proposals

Mid Sussex District Council recently completed the review of the parking service. The next stage is for residents and key stakeholders to read the draft Parking Strategy and to give their comments.

Green Flag Award

Beech Hurst Gardens in Haywards Heath has been recognised as one of the country's best green spaces with a prestigious Green Flag Award. Beech Hurst Gardens impressed the judges with its excellent use of green space, well-maintained facilities and high standard of safety and security.

Result of Town Council by-election

Liberal Democrat candidate Robert Eggleston has been elected to Burgess Hill Town Council following the Victoria Ward by-election, which took place on Thursday 26 August 2010.

Cabinet meeting moved to 8 Sept

Please note that the next meeting of the MSDC Cabinet has moved from 6th to 8th September and will commence at 4pm. In addition, the South Area Planning Committee on 2nd September will now take place at the Oaklands building in Haywards Heath.

Bluebell Railway platform opening
