Neighbourhood Plan Referendums

More information about the neighbourhood planning process can be found on our Neighbourhood Plans page.

1. A town or parish council makes a draft neighbourhood plan
2. The plan is then sent to an independent examiner for approval
3. All approved plans are then voted on in a local referendum
4. Passed plans become a part of the wider Mid Sussex District Council neighbourhood plan. This is used when deciding planning applications in local areas
