Report noise problems

Everyone must expect some noise from neighbours.

But noise at unreasonable times or for long periods can cause disturbance. Please read our Noisy Neighbours information leaflet for more information.

Ringing burglar and car alarms can be silenced by action from our Environmental Protection Team.

This may involve serving a statutory notice and obtaining a warrant to gain entry to the vehicle or property to allow the alarm to be silenced.

The costs will then be charged to the owner or occupier of the premises or the registered owner of the car.
