Building Control Site Inspections
How do I request a site inspection?
If you have a current application with our building control team then you can ask for a site visit using our site inspection online booking form or using the LABC app.
Please Note: to enable us to carry out the site inspection, the “Terms of Engagement” which was send out on receipt of the application would need to be accepted and returned. You will also need to send your request by 4pm on the working day before your site inspection is needed.
LABC Site Inspection App
Local Authority Building Control (LABC) have released a new site inspection app giving you ability to request inspections whilst out on site.
See the LABC website for more information.
Please note: Our records are only retained for 15 years.
When will my site inspection take place?
Site inspections will usually start from 11am on weekdays, and continue up until 4:00pm.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with an exact time prior to our visit.
Please request a call 30 minutes prior to our arrival when booking your inspection if you know you’re not going to be on site all day.

- Damp proof course
