Sport Pitches and Pavilion Hire

You can book our green spaces, pavilions and halls for sporting activities and events. All bookings are managed, on the Council’s behalf, by Glendale Countryside Ltd.

Please note: match fixtures are prioritised during the playing season. We therefore recommend that dates for one-off bookings are checked with us in advance before submitting your application.

Please make sure to read the fees and charges information and our Conditions of Hire before making your booking. All payments must be made in advance of your booking.

You can find details of over 40 different sports taking place across Sussex on 'Find your Sport' 

Many of our sports grounds have pavilions available for hire. Pavilions provide:

• Changing rooms
• Showers and toilets
• Social rooms

Please let us know if you would like to consider pavilion hire alongside your sports facility booking.

Pavilions also provide facilities for non-sporting events, and some provide space for local businesses (including nurseries). If you’re interested in hiring a pavilion for a non-sporting event or as a space for your business visit our Green Space Hire page.

We operate six park tennis venues across the district. Bookings can be made online using the Lawn Tennis Association’s Clubspark booking and payment system.
